Josue, born in Guatemala, grew up speaking the Mayan K’iche’ language at home while learning Spanish in school and English during his time in the U.S. He graduated from Rafael Landívar University with a specialization in law in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala. He is now hosting a short workshop to teach students the basics of the Mayan indigenous language, sharing his expertise and cultural heritage.
